Children are supported - never rushed - as they grow with confidence.
Little Steps is built on the belief that childhood should feel safe, joyful, and meaningful. We honour the trust families place in us every day.
Our Philosophy
Learning Begins With the Child
Children learn best when they feel secure, valued, and curious. Learning begins with each child’s interests and natural sense of wonder. Play-rich, inquiry-based experiences allow learning to unfold meaningfully.
Our Teaching Practices
Guided With Care and Intention
Educators act as facilitators, gently guiding learning rather than directing it. Careful observation and listening shape meaningful learning experiences. Classrooms support exploration, creativity, and confidence.
Family Partnership
Connecting home and school through open communication
We value families as trusted partners, building relationships rooted in respect and care. Through open, honest communication, families feel informed, involved, and supported. By working closely together, children feel secure and grow with confidence.
Supporting Every Child
Care Beyond the Classroom
Support happens within a familiar, comfortable environment. Children feel secure while receiving the care they need.
Leadership With Heart
Present and Child-Focused
Little Steps is guided by hands-on, involved leadership. Decisions are made thoughtfully, with children’s wellbeing first. Care, learning, and connection guide everything we do.
Meet Our Onsite Therapy Team
At Little Steps, our therapists are part of our everyday world, not just referrals. Together, we nurture the whole child; emotionally, physically, and developmentally through trusted relationships and integrated support.
